The official 2026 calendar lists WTT Champions Montpellier for 27 October–1 November. It is an upcoming event at the time of writing, so there are no results to report here. For players watching elite table tennis, it is also an opportunity to think about what makes a useful training note.
The LTTSF perspective
At LTTSF, we would rather build a small, portable video notebook than a collection of disconnected screenshots. A note can identify the original video, record the match and timestamp, and describe a serve, receive or rally pattern in the coach’s own words.
What this could mean for your club
A simple CSV or Markdown export would let players carry their observations between applications. Tags such as short receive, third ball and backhand opening could help a group find examples later. Link to authorised footage rather than assuming that a publicly viewable broadcast may be downloaded or republished. The accompanying photograph is archival, not a picture from the upcoming tournament.
