The ITTF World Para Table Tennis Championships are scheduled for 13–19 November 2026 in Pattaya. The official event page describes a 334-athlete field and 37 medal events across singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The programme spans wheelchair, standing and intellectual-impairment classes.
The LTTSF perspective
The LTTSF perspective is that accessibility must reach the software surrounding the table. A competition can offer excellent sporting opportunities while still making a results page difficult to navigate. Clear headings, meaningful table labels and keyboard access are useful requirements for any tournament system.
What this could mean for your club
An open-source results interface should show the event and class in plain language, keep text readable on a phone, and explain updates without relying on colour alone. Organisers and athletes should be able to try an early version and report problems. These are design suggestions prompted by the event, not an assessment of Pattaya’s actual digital systems.
