The ITTF opened media accreditation for the 2026 World Youth Championships on 20 October. The competition is scheduled for 21–28 November at Ata Sporlari Merkezi in Istanbul, with U19 and U15 events. The published application deadline for working media is 10 November, and applications require approval.
The LTTSF perspective
For a club following its young players, the software challenge is consistent publishing. Event dates, venue names and source links often get copied into a website, a newsletter and a social post, then quietly drift apart. LTTSF favours a small, shared event record that feeds those different outputs.
What this could mean for your club
A practical open-source publishing workflow could generate a web summary and plain-text briefing from the same fields. It should distinguish an accreditation deadline from a competition date and make later corrections easy to trace. Clubs can apply that pattern to local youth events too, without pretending to offer official accreditation or republishing material they do not have permission to use.
