A club video project can be a useful contribution to Kdenlive testing

On 16 October, the Kdenlive developers asked for feedback on work planned for 26.12: richer font styles in title text and relative paths in project files. Their published testing instructions cover reopening, rendering and moving projects. The project explicitly says the experimental builds are for testing, not production.

The LTTSF perspective

A table tennis coaching project can exercise exactly those real-life conditions. It may combine match recordings, player-name titles and photographs, then move between the coach’s computer and a club laptop. That makes the workflow a useful source of practical feedback.

What this could mean for your club

LTTSF’s suggestion is to test only a disposable copy with material you are allowed to share. Record the operating system, build and exact steps, then describe what happened and what you expected. A concise, reproducible report is a contribution in its own right. This is an invitation to participate carefully, not a recommendation to move a club’s only editing project onto a development build.
